Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics

The Torch Award was created to recognize businesses and charities that insist on exceptionally high standards of behavior in dealing with customers, vendors and employees.

Customer Service Excellence Award

Your BBB Foundation’s Customer Service Excellence Award recognizes employees who go above and beyond in their customer service activities.

Student Ethics Scholarship

Your BBB Foundation recognizes college-bound students who personify high ethics as demonstrated through leadership, community service, overall personal integrity and academic history. Three local high school students in each of your BBB's three districts will receive a $1,000 scholarship to the accredited college or university of their choice.

Winners of all three awards will be recognized as a series of luncheons to be held throughout your BBB's service area.

Silent Auction

To help fund the Student Ethics Scholarships, attendees at the 2009 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics and Student Ethics Scholarship luncheons will have the opportunity to bid on a variety of local goods and services in a silent auction. Funds raised benefit your BBB Foundation of Northwest Florida, which supports your BBB’s vision of an ethical marketplace through community education and recognition programs.

If you are able to donate an item, product or service for the event(s), please contact Mary Gallaher at 850.429.0026, 800.729.9226 or mgallaher@nwfl.bbb.org. Donations are a great way to promote your business to businesses and consumers who value ethics in the marketplace.
