Your BBB Foundation Serving Northwest Florida will hold its sixth annual Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics luncheon for District I at New World Landing on Tuesday, May 17, 2011.
Winners in several categories will be recognized at the annual ceremony created to recognize those who exemplify ethics, integrity and outstanding customer service.
The Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics recognizes businesses and charities that insist on exceptionally high standards of behavior in dealing with customers, vendors and employees.
The Customer Service Excellence Award recognizes individuals who go above and beyond in their customer service activities.
And the Student Ethics Scholarship, open to high school juniors and seniors, recognizes students who demonstrate leadership, community service and overall personal integrity.
Business leaders are invited to attend and celebrate ethics in the marketplace. Attendees will also have the opportunity to bid on a variety of goods and services in a silent auction to benefit your BBB Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports your BBB’s vision of an ethical marketplace, where buyers and sellers can trust each other.
